Game Developer's Conference Shanghai

Mark Ollila, one of Nokia's executives working on their next-generation gaming plans will be speaking at this year's Game Developer's Conference in Shanghai. Sources say that he is to talk about Nokia's plans for the next iteration of their mobile gaming software. This is nothing new as over the past two years Nokia has been feeding both the press and public the same stale information over and over again. GDC will be starting on the 27th of August and ending on the 29th. This means that it is possible that Nokia will actually launch their gaming software soon after. In other words, if there ever was a Nokia speech to get excited about, this is it.

No News From Camp Nokia..

Hello everbody! I know it has been about two years since the promises and talks of the next-generation of mobile gaming were brought up by Nokia. Most N-Gage fans have grown tired of waiting and many, many people have completely lost interest in the buzz created by Nokia at last year's e3. First it was Gerard Wiener who made promises...then it was Gregg Sauter, so far we have gotten nothing more than screenshots and a few gameplay videos. I know that it may seem like we're asking a bit much of you but from what we've heard from our sources at Nokia they are taking these games and the Nokia "Play" application very seriously which means a great gaming experience for you guys. Just hang in there, for Nokia will reveal all pretty "soon"...at least that's what we've been told.
